Steam Sister is an all-female cover band that asked us to provide a background for their new promotional material. To create this backdrop, we placed 7 stacks of cubes in a semi-circle, ensuring the light would be visible from all desired angles. During the shoot, we were in close collaboration with the filming and lighting crew. Our flexible control software allowed us to quickly tweak the light in the cubes to create the desired look for every shot. This created a beautiful blend of our own lighting, the surrounding lights and smoke. The resulting photos and video capture Steam Sister’s playful and creative personality really well.
